Sometimes, you just have to say it: You STUPID! Me SMART!

Do you ever meet people that stun you with their…well…blatant lack of brain cells? And if so, do you momentarily lose your own ability to string together nouns and verbs properly? Thus reducing you to the bare statement of facts – You STUPID! Me SMART! It’s okay, you can admit it….you’re among friends, here. Plus, I’m sure that at some point, we’ve all been the ones stunning others with our own impressions of lobotomized sods.

Today, I seemed to stumble upon more than one of these moments, as did a good friend of mine. This inspired me to put into words – and snazzy tees – our thoughts on the subject. So there you have it, the genesis of this fine piece of apparel. (Which you can buy in my FairyFindings Zazzle Shop, in case you were wondering. LOL)

I do tend to think that if you can find a way to (mostly) harmlessly dispel the annoyances that plague you, through humor, or sharing a truly snarky story with a close friend, you’re actually doing the world a favor. In some cases, these things even turn into creative outlets that make the world a better place. We may never know what some of our best and brightest artists, musicians and writers were REALLY thinking about when they created the things that we consider “classics”. When Will Shakespeare was writing Macbeth, and penned those famous lines, ”Out, damn’d spot! Out, I say!,” was he really penning the rantings and rambling of a Lady going mad as she wrung her hands and walked the halls of the castle…or was he, in fact, upset because no matter what he tried, he couldn’t get the ink stains out of his best doublet? We’ll never know.

Video Review of Alexian’s CD The Mother, the Magick, the Music

A good friend of mine, who also happens to be an incredibly talented musician and a wonderful, respected member of the Pagan community here in Central Florida, has posted his CD on Amazon (finally!) It’s great music, and in honor of the posting, I’ve bought some of the songs as MP3 downloads (yes, in addition to owning the CD, already. You really should support indie musicians, artists, film makers…it’s where the best and brightest things can often be found, if only they’re given the chance to shine. But that’s another blog.)

So, with no ado whatsoever, here’s the video review I did for The Mother, the Magick, the Music. Don’t hold the low tech quality against Alexian; that’s simply my inexpensive little Logitech webcam, doing its best to help me share Alexian’s music with the world. (Or at least the three people who read my blog.)
