Beltane Wishes for 2010

Video Review of Alexian’s CD The Mother, the Magick, the Music

A good friend of mine, who also happens to be an incredibly talented musician and a wonderful, respected member of the Pagan community here in Central Florida, has posted his CD on Amazon (finally!) It’s great music, and in honor of the posting, I’ve bought some of the songs as MP3 downloads (yes, in addition to owning the CD, already. You really should support indie musicians, artists, film makers…it’s where the best and brightest things can often be found, if only they’re given the chance to shine. But that’s another blog.)

So, with no ado whatsoever, here’s the video review I did for The Mother, the Magick, the Music. Don’t hold the low tech quality against Alexian; that’s simply my inexpensive little Logitech webcam, doing its best to help me share Alexian’s music with the world. (Or at least the three people who read my blog.)

If you’d like to know more about the man behind the music, visit Alexian’s website and his online music tutorial system, My Music Expert. You can brush up your skills, if you’re already an experienced musician, or start at the bottom of the scale, as a beginner.

Before Imbolc Passes…A Haiku for Brighid

Little sleep but dreams

in mists they have no meaning

fires spark in me
